Pro Check

Pirelli's first tire and vehicle management SaaS.

Pro Check is an advanced Tire Monitoring System (TMS) that allows commercial fleet users to keep track of the status of their tires and receive reliable maintenance forecasts, providing ever-reliable and personalized support to optimize operational efficiency and costs.

How it works | Fleet and tire dealer technicians run quarterly tire and vehicle inspections. Tire tread depth and pressure are the key measures, and they are taken using the Bluetooth inspection tool, which is directly connected to the smartphone app. Moreover, the system allows technicians to report damages to tires and vehicles, with the possibility of adding pictures and details. The system collects all data, calculates tires' residual life, and generates advanced maintenance reports for the fleet manager or the authorized dealer. 

Target Users | Commercial fleets and tire dealers. The system can either be used directly by fleet technicians or outsourced to a network of authorized dealers that provide professional services to fleets. The tire database is then shared among all actors so that they can be automatically added when purchased and cross-managed in case of maintenance and retread.

My role | As a Product Manager, I was in charge of developing professional services across Europe and South America, leading their development for the whole organization.

My responsibility was to oversee Pro Check developments from its inception through the whole product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-launch performance analysis. I coordinated the Digital Solutions team (developers), the local sales organizations, and service managers.   I also traveled across countries to train our sales teams and consult key customers that would enhance the system's adoption.

Results | After its launch, Pro Check quickly grew among important customers, generating an average of 1,000 tire inspections per month till I left the company.

Iride

Advance Log Management System for Oil & Gas Industry.

Iride is an advanced log management system developed for Italy's gas distribution leader that allows the client to keep track of commercial procedures across all systems of the application map.

How it works | After replacing the core BPM (a 2-year project), the client needed to ensure data consistency across all systems of the application map (10+ systems— from technical to commercial and legal). After making every system able to generate logs with the minimum required data, it was time to develop a log management system to gather every log and follow each procedure code through the application map.  The Elastic Search stack was chosen as the most reliable and comprehensive tool available to develop the project. 

Target Users | Technical assistance teams, business users, and IT managers.

My role | as a Senior Product Manager, reporting directly to Reply's Senior Partner, I was in charge of building the whole system, from requirements gathering through systems functional analysis to system testing and launch. I managed a team of 2 functional analysts and coordinated a technical team of 2 developers and an architect while acting as the client's IT manager's first point of contact for the whole project duration. 

We first analyzed every type of procedure available (> 30) and each of their paths through the application map. We then identified every possible failure point (> 1,000) and defined the KPIs we should keep track of.

We then set up the Elastic Search infrastructure and connected each logging system. Lastly, we defined a set of dashboards and an alert system that automatically opened tickets on Service Now when a point of failure turned on. 

Results | We created an extremely reliable system that was critical for the client's everyday operations, with a fully integrated solution between the new BPM, each system of the application map and Service Now. We successfully tested the system, which was launched shortly after I left the company.

We closed a deal valued at $440k in sales for Reply, along with additional developments and ongoing system maintenance.

Pro Data

Desktop and Mobile Dashboards on Key Market Data.

Pro Data is a data visualization project made of extensive desktop dashboards with an extreme granularity of information for each market in which Prometeon sold tires and of a mobile version, focused on continuously updating market shares and sales KPIs.

How it works | Every month, tire manufacturers' associations worldwide release updated market data and shares based on key players' contributions (such as Prometeon, Michelin, Goodyear, Continental, and Bridgestone). These files have different formats and information, making it almost impossible to have a coherent and quick view of all markets in the same place. 

My project, which I proactively worked on during my spare time, was to gather all sources into a single set of Tableau dashboards so that every user from the Sales & Marketing team of Prometeon could access information as quickly as possible. 

I first developed an extensive set of desktop dashboards with several calculated KPIs and insights that I uploaded every month, not only with the new data but also with detailed qualitative comments.

I then developed a set of mobile dashboards, mainly for market shares and sales KPIs, so that our executives and sales team could access that information on the go during client meetings. 

Results | Prometeon's CCO/COO particularly appreciated the effort I made and invested to buy Tableau licenses for the whole Sales & Marketing team. Moreover, I was promoted to Product Manager for Prometeon's Professional Services (SaaS) and inserted in the top talent pool of the company.
